Exploring changes in matter lab

1.) our question was, which changes are examples of a chemical change, and which are examples of a physical change? 2.)during our investigation we observed and identified if our scenarios were chemical or physical changes. 3.) our claim: water and table salt, and paraffin wax are examples of a physical change because it had the same things, where as the others had something new. Our evidence is dalt dissolved in water (physical). Small wad of  copper wire held, but it changed color to black (chemical). 5 drops of hydroxiele and 5 drops of hydroclorcice acide, changed from liquid to soild (chemical).  5 drops of hydrobick acid added 2g of sodium bicarbonate. Every drop foamed when mixed together (chemical).   The paraffin wax went from a soils white color to a clear liquid back to soils white (physical).

Thickness of aluminum foil lab

1. We were trying to find the thickness of aluminum foil 2. We measures the the length and width of a piece of foil, then weighed the mass. 3.we found that the thickness was 57.13cm. I got this because the formula wa t=v/a. So I did 461.9/17.91 and got 57.13 cm.
